The WORKTECH Work From Anywhere Virtual Conference and Innovations Exhibition will explore the Work From Anywhere movement and how it is shaping the new world of work, and the built environment.

We will attract senior decision makers from CRE IT, FM, HR, Architecture and Design to debate and discuss the latest trends and thought leadership.

Work From Anywhere means a person is able to effectively perform their job from a variety of locations – the office, the home, a thirdspace. The pandemic has accelerated the trend for flexible work with recent research from Microsoft among 30,000 employees across the world finding that “70% of workers want flexible remote work options to continue, and 66% of business decision makers are considering redesigning physical spaces to better accommodate hybrid work”.

With a growing focus on what life will be like when we return to the office post pandemic, this conference comes at a unique time where organisations and business leaders are – more than ever – looking for inspiration and solutions to help them with this journey.

WORKTECH brings innovative ideas and inspiration to the workplace community through inter-disciplinary speakers and learning experience to enhance creativity and move thinking forward.

Attendees will hear from industry experts, practitioners, and thought leaders who will share latest thinking with global case studies, success stories and new research examining factors such as:

  • Office in a Box – employees need the right tools and equipment to set up a workspace anywhere
  • Workplace Apps as a gateway to employee experience
  • Workplace Utilization – how to manage occupancy levels in a WFA model
  • Future of Meetings
  • Culture and Leadership
  • Agile Workplaces
  • The Adaptable CRE Model

Conference Themes

Day 1

Sessions include

Office in a Box

Employees need the right tools and equipment to set up a workspace anywhere. This technology underpins the ability for each employee to access a virtual cloud-based office.

Day 1

Sessions include

Workplace Utilization

Data driven insights will inform future workplace strategies. Knowing how and when your space is being used will be essential to support Work From Anywhere policies and manage occupancy levels.

Day 1

Sessions include

Workplace Apps

Apps will become the gateway to user experience. By sharing who has booked to be in the office on a particular day, and by nudging or suggesting when would be a good time to go to the office.

Day 1

Sessions include

Remote Working and Cyber Security

Without the security protections that office systems afford us – such as firewalls and blacklisted IP addresses – and increased reliance on technology, we are far more vulnerable when working online.

Day 1

Sessions include

Future of Meetings

As people start to work in a hybrid way, we will need meeting spaces with advanced audio-visual technology that creates an equal experience across all channels. We will also need a new set of etiquette practices to make sure that everyone attending the meeting whether in person or virtually has the same opportunity to participate.

Day 1

Sessions include

Culture and Leadership

Managing an omni-channel workforce. Discover how to effectively lead and grow as a team while working remotely. Making remote work productive and engaging for employees.

Day 1

Sessions include

The Adaptive CRE Model – Hub / Club or Hub and Spoke model

Companies are facing the quandary of how not to waste money on office space when people are working from home most of the time, but also how office space can be available when workers want or need to come in. One solution shrinking the downtown Hub and having spokes in other locations can make it easier and cheaper for companies to provide office space.

Day 1

Sessions include

Agile workplaces

Agile workplaces allow staff to choose where they work. In the new work from anywhere ecosystem, the workplace floorplate needs to respond—creating environments that provide connection and adapt for occupancy levels.
