CONFERENCE VENUE

Over the years, WORKTECH Events have taken place in frontier shifting buildings, and conference delegates benefit from exclusive behind-the-scenes workplace tours.

WORKTECH24 Copenhagen will take place at Danish Architecture Center, which occupies the site of a former brewery next to Kierkegaard Square on Copenhagen’s harbour front. It was designed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), a practice founded by Rem Koolhaas who wrote a manifesto for urban intensity, Delirious New York, in 1978.

Delegates at WORKTECH24 Copenhagen also have the opportunity to book for a complimentary behind-the-scenes tour of two of Copenhagen’s most cutting edge workplaces: Nordea Bank Headquarters and Woods Augusthus – Coworking Space.

DANISH ARCHITECTURE CENTER

Founded in 1985, the Danish Architecture Center (DAC) in Copenhagen is a dynamic hub for architectural innovation. With a focus on promoting the importance of architecture and urban design, DAC hosts exhibitions, events, and workshops to inspire public engagement and critical discourse. Designed by architect Henning Larsen, DAC’s iconic building on the waterfront symbolizes Denmark’s commitment to modern design and sustainability. Through digital platforms and educational programs, DAC extends its influence, collaborating with diverse partners to advocate for livable, resilient cities. As a leading institution in Denmark, DAC continues to push boundaries and champion innovation in the field of architecture.
